| I feel like we haven't even started classes yet b.c we haven't really gone any.. but its fun being with everyone... This hurricane aftermath is so sad.. It is so crazy to see all the maddness on tv and know that is so close to you.. So many people left with nothing and not even knowing if their family is ok. Yesturday I went and volunteered for the Red Cross at the collusem in Jackon. when I walked in and saw all these mattress and blankets laying everywhere and knowing this is how these people are going to have to live maybe for 6 months to a year and maybe longer I started crying.. but then I felt bad for crying b/c they are the ones going through all this but it did break my heart. We took all the little kids outside to play and give the parents a little break.All the kids were so good. It was such a crazy experience. It broke my heart though to see all these families and to know that this was only one location and there are so many more with so many more families going through the same thing. We tried to talk to some of the kids about Christ, it was a great opportunity to share our faith with these kids.
It's so crazy to see how quick something like this can happen and how many lives it can affect.

| Ok Well... I am getting ready to go back! Its coming up soo soon!! I can't believe it! This weekend we had the black and white party.. it was fun.. Not a whole lot happened but it was interesting!! haha Then Sat. I didn't do anything just slept I was soo tired.. Sunday was a lot of fun... We went to this church in Orlando called Discovery and they have this college group called Status.. it is Amazing!! I love it so much! Its so awesome to see so many people your age praising God.. it's really encouraging... The couple that spoke this week has been in Krykastan (spelling, no clue!!) building a church and they told stories of how hard it is to proclaim you are a christian here and it made me sad b/c it's like we are so scared here to stand up for our faith and nothing is going to happen to us at all! And over there they get beat and killed everyday for it yet they still procliam it! Wow.. it was crazy.. it really makes think..We met some really nice people that were friends of Matt.. Laura and Jessica! We went out to eat at Steak and Shake.. it was interesting.. this old man was our waiter and he had, had 3 ex wives.. haha it was kind of sad... Anyway.. It was fun hanging out with everyone and our new friends!! Sat --I am going to Disney with Alicia and Jessica.. I can't wait!! | | |
| - Fly Away Ok soo the 8th is changed to the 18th! I couldn't get a plane ticket for as cheap as I thought I could! I'm kind of sad.. But it will be fun to hang out with my friends here for a couple of more weeks too! Ok soo this summer has been soo much fun! I have been able to get so close to my two best friends Alicia and Jessica! Wow they are soo amazing and so much fun! This summer ended up turning out nothing like I thought it would.. Some many surprises and turns that were very unexpected! I have hung out with some people that I never have before and loved it! They are so much fun! Alicia, Jessic and I made tshirts online and they are soo cute! I can't wait to wear them!
Anyway.. I went to Ga for two weeks... oh gosh.. crazy! But I got to see some old friends of mine and it was a lot of fun! Then I came home and my aunt and two little cousins came over! They are soo much fun! the boys are so cute... On Friday we went to Disney, my gosh it was like 100 degrees! but they had so much fun so It was worth it! Then Jonathan and Dave came and got me and we met Alicia, Jessica, Marcus, Matt, Michael, Bryna, and I may be leaving one person out and I am going to feel like a real jerk but anyway and we went to a concert to see Grits, Paul Wright (Amazing!!), and Pax 217.. It was soo much fun hanging out with all these great guys and seeing those 3 great acts! I loved Paul Wright.. he was soo talented and a very nice person..
Alicia comes home this weekend and on Friday we are having a black and white party! I can not wait!!! It is going to be so much fun! A lot of our friends are coming!! If you want to come let me know! | | |
